"Hinze’s stories are “destined to thrill, fated to heal!” They are intense, overflowing with intrigue and full of hope and faith. “Not all is as it appears” with this story’s multiple layers, twists and turns and unexpected surprises."
The international terrorist network known as NINA has reared its ugly head again in the small coastal town of Seagrove Village. As he rushes into a wedding reception, Detective Jeff Meyer unexpectedly stumbles on a collection of bodies at the local country club. He moves quickly to begin the process of finding answers by calling in fellow enforcement agents. The extra support will be important as the investigation intensifies over time.
Sara and Beth have built SaBe, a multi-million dollar business together, but their solid friendship is now strained and slowly unraveling. Sara’s husband has been kidnapped and Beth is a prime suspect due to her outspoken distrust of him.
As Beth’s life gets more complicated and Seagrove Village loses its peaceful serenity, she begins to question who she can truly trust. Will the stench of betrayal ruin the deep richness of this close community?
Keeping all the characters straight and how they interconnect can be an adventure in itself for the reader. The author’s characters are unique, well-developed and endearingly believable.

Within Not this Time, romance and suspense are blended so well that neither overpowers each other in the storyline. The romance provides a welcomed oasis in the middle of all the constant intrigue and action. Although I believe Joe’s tenderly sweet term of endearment for Beth is used too often in their dialogue.
After the epilogue, the discussion questions are pinpoint poignant and will nudge the reader into digging beyond the forefront themes of betrayal, faith and redemption.
