"...an inexpensive way of listening to the latest awesome contemporary Christian CDs out there without coming close to the national debt."
Over the last 14 years, the Contemporary Christian music industry
(CCM) has partnered with the best artists to make their songs available on
2 CDs in a package they affectionately call WOW! Thirty songs containing
the most popular hits heard on Christian radio in 2009 are included.
The breadth of musical genres within CCM’s scope are well represented
on this compilation. It includes the Hip-Hop of Group 1 Crew, the passionate
rock of Natalie Grant and Jars of Clay, the inspirational pop of Mandisa
and Mark Schultz and the soul-stirring worship of Chris Tomlin and Michael
W. Smith. Within this collection, there is a sweet balance of male artists,
female artists and a varied presentation of bands/groups. There is also a
diverse blend of seasoned veterans like Stephen Curtis Chapman, tobyMac and
Newboys to a few new and fresh CCM artists like Britt Nicole, Brandon Heath,
and Red and Hawk Nelson. You probably won’t find all your favorite
music included but you’ll enlarge your CCM listening quotient and possibly
embrace a few new favorite artists or groups. You will not be disappointed
by purchasing this sweet CD package.
WOW 2010 is an inexpensive way of listening to the latest awesome contemporary
Christian CDs out there without coming close to the national debt. My favorites,
which can change at any time, include: “The Motions,” Matthew
West, “Wait and See,” Brandon Heath, “My Deliverer,” Mandisa, “City
on Our Knees.” tobyMac, “The Lost Get Found,” Britt Nicole
and “Keys to the Kingdom,” Group 1 Crew.
This popular hit list include songs with lyrics that are both encouraging
and convicting, powerful and inspirational.
Looking over my collection of WOW CDs, I found I’m missing a few years.
Perhaps some unnamed person in my household has borrowed them. I’d
completely understand if that was the case, but next time, just ask me or
buy your own copy.
