"...Trent has created an album that signifies a new chapter musically, personally, and spiritually. It’s full of messages of hope, inspiration and putting our faith in Christ. "

The story of Tammy Trent over the last 6 years has been one of devastating grief, utter despair and the unexpected grace that a true heart of God can obtain.

With Stronger, her 2nd full length release since the loss of her soul-mate and husband Trent (from whom she takes her stage name) in September 2001, she has created an 11-song testimonial that gives us a glimpse into someone who has come out the other side of a tremendous loss with the help of God. Her highest hope for the songs on Stronger is that people who listen are somehow overwhelmed by the amazing reality that God desperately loves and cares about them and their circumstances. And that He is with us whenever, wherever, and forever.

It is her story. “It is my way of speaking life...” she says when describing the process in which Stronger was created. Optimism just oozes from this project from such song as “Beautiful”, “Wonder”, and “God of Impossibles”. This is a celebration of her hope and trust in Christ and an acknowledgment that he was there throughout her sorrow and joy.

Lyrically the listener is invited to peek into her personal journal as she goes through the grief of that fateful day when Trent went diving and landed in the arms of the Lord as told in “Edge of the Water”. Backed simply by a piano, her voice is crisp and aching as she hauntingly recounts the event “…and when I stood on the edge of the water, fading hope there would be a tomorrow...” This reflective ballad concludes like a wave of fresh air: “…You held me safe in your hand, reminding me I would walk again…how powerful you are …of carrying me this far. I look up and kiss your face …a face that sees inside my heart…a face that sees in my heart.”

Stronger is my way of speaking life, saying, ‘Hold on to the truth that God will see you through this circumstance’,”Trent says. “Embrace all the possibilities of tomorrow, today. I’ve lived through the darkest of hours. I know what the other side looks like. And you can take me at my word. It’s not perfect, but it still can be glorious.”

Co-writing five of the 11-selections on Stronger, Trent has created an album that signifies a new chapter musically, personally, and spiritually. It’s full of messages of hope, inspiration and putting our faith in Christ.

Adrian B. Martinez: "Music and Movies, Movies and Music, always the twain shall meet" is Adrian B. Martinez's motto; a displaced New Yorker living in Connecticut. A complete Movie nut, Adrian was responsible for writing movie synopsis' for Loews Movie Theater's for over 5 years. At any given time that would be a synopsis for over 25 movies in one week. Whew! Nowadays, she is a regular in the Press area for the Creation Festival and Purple Door Festival. To keep her in the lifestyle she has become accustomed, she does web-design for DelMonico Hatter in New Haven, Ct. and serves as a Supervisor for the Hartford Civic Center, also in Ct. An avid traveler, Adrian has been to Europe numerous times and can be seen criss-crossing the United States in her re-furbished 1974 Orange Volkswagen Vanagon which has allowed her to participate in her favorite past-time, meeting new people….When she does take the time to stop, she spends her time with a very handsome man that goes by the name of Zorro. He can be seen sleeping on the couch, bed, bathing in the sunlight on a window ledge or anywhere else that he deems comfortable. Zorro of course, is her cat.
