Jingle Ducks by Cedarmont Kids

"Jim Adkins and the Cedarmont Kids do a great job of providing quality music for kids of all ages."

My boys love to go to the library and pick out CDs and audiobooks to listen to in the car. Of course, lately we’ve been listening to nothing but Christmas music, which we all love. They were super excited when I put Jingle Ducks into the CD player last week; hilarious laughter followed soon after, especially by my toddler.

Jingle Ducks is a CD of Christmas music sung by ducks and kids, including the following songs:

· Jingle Bells
· Go, Tell It on the Mountain
· Rocking Around the Christmas Tree
· FelizNavidad
· Joy to the World
· Holly Jolly Christmas
· Jesus, What a Wonderful Child
· Duck on the Housetop
· Deck the Hall
· Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer (Parody)
· Mary Had a Baby
· The Real Night Before Christmas
· We Wish You a Merry Christmas

Some of these songs were rather familiar to me, but others were new for all of us. Jim Adkins and the Cedarmont Kids do a great job of providing quality music for kids of all ages. The ducks remind me, quite a bit, of the old days when I used to watch Donald Duck. He makes that duck voice so believable. Some songs have quite a bit of the ducks singing, but then other songs are mainly kids singing. My husband gets rather annoyed by the ducks, but I just laugh along with the kids….you really can’t help but laugh. Of course, most of the songs are fast-paced and lighthearted, but there are a few serious songs, as well. They do a wonderful job of really slowing the tempo and bringing the more serious feeling into the music.
